Arrival Part 1
Posted by Stretch | Filed under Personal, Photography
Part one of my new camera accessories has arrived. Last week, I ordered Canon’s 70-200 f4L USM lens.

And today it arrived. Its alot bigger than I thought it would be, and has a nice feel to it. I’m eagerly waiting to go out someplace to use it. It will get alot of use this summer when I’m out in Acadia, and in the Adirondacks.

On the camera, it definitely needs two hands to hold. Being so long, it needs the extra hand to help balance, and with any slower shutter speeds, I’ll have to use a tripod.

May 28th, 2008 at 9:18 amNice! Be sure to post about the photos you take! For having rented some “L” series glass, I am amazed at the quality of the images, the brightness, colours are so much more vibrant and realistic. If I had the dough, I’d get some for myself.

June 3rd, 2008 at 5:33 pmI’d love to have an SLR … but digital camera with a 3.5in touch screen display kinda catch my eye … and they’re just a little easier to transport =P

June 3rd, 2008 at 10:32 pmYeah, I kinds wish I could fit all this stuff in my pocket. I had a large point-n-shoot, a Canon S2 IS. It was a great camera, but I outgrew it, and decided it was time for an SLR. I still may get a small slim PNS at some point, just so I have something to slip in my pocket for times when an SLR is just overkill.
