Free CD Around Town
Free music is good, and when it’s legal free music, it’s even better. A band in Toronto has been busy stapling free promo CDs to telephone poles around the city.
We’ve been trying to promote the heck out of our Kensington Station show on September 29th (Nuit Blanche in Toronto!). Part of the job has been postering as much as possible - but we’re also trying something different: we’ve burned 100 CDs with mp3 from our debut EP, the All On C Ep, and we’re stapling / taping to them poles throughout the city.
The CD is also licensed under Creative Commons, which means that you can share, remix, and do anything you want with the music as long as you give them credit for the original work, and license it the same way.
The CD is available for download on their website, so you can check them out yourself.
